Other comments about the hotel: We had a room on the 2nd floor which gave us a private stairway and aspectacular view overlooking the pool and across the river to the temple ruins. The atmosphere in the room was very romantic. The room had very high ceilings and smelled very good. The pool was fabulous and had a great view of the ruins as well. The only complaint about the room was that there were vents that allowed many Mosquitos to enter the room and took the relaxing feeling away from the room. However, the bed did have a mosquito net on it which worked very well at keeping the bugs out and allowed for a very romantic atmosphere and allowed us to relax inside the bed while we slept. The hotel gives you wi-fi for free, which is rare in Thailand. They also let you use bicycles for free, which was great to get around and see the city first hand. The very difficult thing is the noise. Too much noise even by night. Big boats on the river very noisy and big trucks in the street. Impossible to sleep during four nights. Impossible to advise for other customers du to high level of noise. Hotel manager must see this problem with architect. Very very bad location between the road and the river. People are nice and helpful.The problem is that nobody in the city know the address of the hotel and it s difficult to find it. In Ayutthaya just few people speak english. We had a big lovely room NeXT to the pool with view on the river and a temple. The room was very nicely decorated, we liked the bathroom and shower. Personel was extremely friendly and serves good food. Choose this hotel for your stay! They also have free bikes available.

The room we inhabited was spacey and functional with all mod cons in addition to historical relics adding a touch of history to the modern style architecture. The swimming pool was small but relaxing and the view of the old temple across the river is dramatically stunning. We would have no hesitation in staying at Iudia again and wish to relay our thanks to owners and staff alike for a meditative and relaxing stay at a great place. Rooms and faciltiy are 5-star with INCREDIBLE day/night views of Thai temple across river. The view from our room and from the pool was awesome. Resort is beautiful w/ mix of Thai/Arabic modern design. Great location, nice breakfast, free bicycle use, awesome place!

There was nowhere to hang a wardrobe style case and no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. The room was comfortable and the traffic noise from the main road was not as bad as expected. The staff is extremely helpful in arranging transport throughout the city. The room was very comfortable. If you have a late check-out you may use the shower even if you have checked out of the room.
