Jungle Club is not on the beach but on a hillside overlooking the Gulf of Thailand - nothing better than to be in the infinity pool looking out at the sweeping view. Other comments about the hotel: The Jungle Club is a special place, situated atop a hill surrounded by coconut palms and overlooking the Chaweng Beach environs. It is off the beaten track, but easy to get transport down to Chaweng via 4WD vehicles run by the Jungle Club. Its isolation is its primary virtue - cool breezes, a beautiful view, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The open restaurant takes advantage of the view, and the food there is fine. It has a rustic charm, so if you are looking for 5* all-mod-cons accommodation, forget it, but if you are looking for peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of noisy Chaweng, it s perfect. This place is great, and has been the reason for such a great time on Koh Samui. Highly reccommend jungle club to everyone from backpackers to holiday makers and families. The staff do everything to make your stay here a memorable one.
