Other comments about the hotel: We stayed in the deluxe concrete bungalows (A8,9,10 and 12). These are a little away from the beach, but we were OK with it. Excellent bungalows with lush greenery around. Very relaxing environs. Mosquitoes can be pesky and seen to bother most during dusk, but this is a problem common to Ko Samed. Excellent breakfast and service. They changed breakfast menu everyday - so it was very good. Sunset and sunrise views near the resort was breathtaking and not to be missed.Staff very friendly and helpful. They arranged a special dinner for us on the beach on our final day at no extra cost. How was the booking process handled?: Only service to be able to book this hotel. We saw it on Hotels.com but it was not on line when we decided to go about 3 days before we booked. Service was good
Other comments about the hotel: The beach is beautiful but don t expect much by way of great food or friendly service. Everything comes in by boat. [Grandma s chicken on the beach was the best.] People are barely attentive to your needs as oppossed to the Courtyard Marriott in Cha Am where you felt like family. Once you are off the resort you are back in a third world country but we spent a week at Vongdeun Resort and enjoyed the Thai house and beach. [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]
