We have 4 children and can say that the resort take very good care of familys and makes an extra effort to help us have a good stay. We can recomend this Hotel and will come back again.

How was the booking process handled?: ThailandHotels-24.com was great. Super fast and better price than agoda. They aren t always cheaper, but this time they were. A lot of time ThailandHotels-24.com can get rooms even when other sites don t have any rooms left.
Other comments about the hotel: I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago during high season and thought it was the best hotel because it has a nice white sand isolated beach away from banana boats and tour groups. There is really no where else on Samet that you can have a bungalow right next to your own beach.This trip during low season I wasn t as impressed. The rooms are run down, so they seem way overpriced. Other beaches during low season aren t that crowded so this hotel loses its advantage. There was no hot water in our delux bungalow. The hotel staff couldn t help us because the water heater was too far away from the room. This was the same 5 years ago. Everyone must complain about this, but they haven t tried to fix it. We also had water leaking out of our Refrigerator all over the room. Next time I m staying somewhere else.

Other comments about the hotel: Good for the honeymoon couple who want to stay in the hotel all the day.The problem is the way to the hotel is too far from the beach and it s not safety for girls to go there because in the night there s not any light along the way to the hotel. The taxi from the beach costs 100 baht which is too expensive for less than 1 km. But we have to pay for our saftey. :(The hotel front is not so friendly with Thai people. I don t know why I can t change the room in the same area that I can have the pool in front of my room. My room is at the corner(Waree deluxe). I wanted to book for the Waree grand one but it s not available. He said that the room I want was occupied but in the night I don t see anyone in these rooms.There s only one shower cap in the bathroom ,only 2 kinds of towel (no middle size for the hair and face). And there s no hair dryer.The breakfast is not so good quality. You can say it by the cheap sausage they offer us.The best thing is that the maid who s from Cambodia being kind enough to give me the antirepellant spray without asking! Thank you for your kindness.

Other comments about the hotel: En helt OK resort. Rena, fina rum och trevlig, hjälpsam personal. Under lågsäsong dock folktomt och på grund av detta stänger resorten redan vid 19.30-20. Stranden till resorten är ingen badstrand men det finns många andra fina stränder på den lilla ön. Vill man ha MYCKET lugn och ro är detta den rätta ön.

Other comments about the hotel: This probably the best located accommodation on Ao Vonduang and the management know this and therefore the rooms are overcharged. The breakfast is pathetic and you are plagued by flies whilst eating.

How was the booking process handled?: first time and last time was good but some problems with a guys who wanted me to fax a receipt to him to prove I have paid. Strange since other two times with a girl I never had a problem. Annoyed me a little bit and made me wary not to use online bookings in the future. Finally he did what he should have done in the first place and checked his bank to see I had paid already! 5 points for the girl and 1 for the guy (Average 3)
Other comments about the hotel: Great price 770baht! 1st night was very noisy because of 3 bus loads of army families, Karaoke across the road all day and night till 10pm(not too bad) Sunday to Tuesday was beautiful and quiet and very relaxing! Would stay there again for sure but avoid weekends unless you like lots of booming Karaoke noise.Nice staff and swimming pool: recommend skipping the breakfast and eating local food outside somewhere. Thoroughly enjoyed the last 3 days:)Make sure everywhere you eat has a price list, or you ask the price, I was REALLY ripped off at a restaurant a few kilometers away! Couldn t do much about it since I didn t ask the price before ordering. I have been here 10 years and never had a fish that expensive! about 4 times the normal price! (Next to the wharf to Koh Somet).

Other comments about the hotel: It is a wonderful hotel situated in a long and beautiful beach. Everything is found up to standard and satisfaction, except the swimming pool is a bit dirty on the tiles and rather small. Rubbish can be found at the beach right across the hotel, so take trouble to walk a few steps farther to find other stall owners who clean the palce which is under their management.

Other comments about the hotel: WOW! This Resort is just the best. The beachfront poolvillas are very big and amazingly beautiful. The service is the best and the restaurant is great. They have a Thai kitchen and International kitchen and both are very tasteful. There are many dishes so you have a big choice. The complementary afternoon tea is nice and also the homemade icecream that you can get at the pool is yummie. The breakfast is the best I ve ever had in a hotel. It is worth every penny!
