War zu Hauptreisezeit auf Koh Samet, im Januar und es gab genug Hotels die frei Zimmer hatten, die genau so gut waren, nur fĂŒr die HĂ€lfte, als wenn man gleich fĂŒr lĂ€nger bucht. Other comments about the hotel: We had a wonderful stay at the Palmeraie beach resort. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. We chartered two boats with them to take us snorkeling and visiting friends on another island and they treated us like kings with tasty and plentiful food and great hospitality. The resort grounds were beautiful and clean. Two out of the four nights we stayed other groups at the resort had karioki parties. The hotel told us how late they would party and it ended on time. (the younger group at 11pm and the older group at about 9) over all, our stay at the Palmeraie beach resort was a wonderful relaxing time. Thank you! [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: good, room is good, breakfast is ok,what is wonderful is the beach , you can snokling by the beach you can find many fish and beautiful creatures...what is could be improve is the reception, we do not got welcome drink but some europ guest got, and the lady refuse to help for confirming the boat tickets even i said i would pay her telephone fee...so i have to find other people to help...people with family is good, if you look for night life this is not your choice. Other comments about the hotel: Location ok, although apart from restaurants and at the untidy end of the beach. We had an executive room with sea view ... the room was large ok but totally worn out, the sea was out of sight behind large trees. The mattresses kill your back, extra beds for children were as well really poor in quality. The housekeeper managed to lose some of our clothes! I don t say that they were stolen but only two items became returned! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL. There were nice hotels nearby for approx. the same price.

Other comments about the hotel: Great location. Friendly and helpful staff, but still (we were there in March 2011 as well as Jan 2012) no credit card facility. Restaurant food is OK but it IS a great place to eat it. Rooms we were in were both clean and adequate, with all necessary facilities, but hey, they are on the beach front (or, for our first night, 20m back) on a small island, so perhaps one shouldn t expect the earth. The rooms round the nice pool are newer, but none of them actually front onto the beach.

How was the booking process handled?: ThailandHotels-24.com.com did come back to me everytime and offered us a move,but much more money, but the only thing would have been to offer us some kind of refund as they promote this hotel and the price. They seemed to agree with me as I had proof and sent them all the photos. They said they would keep on eye on the hotel. I think they should stop promoting it.
Other comments about the hotel: Our experience with the Le Blanc Samed Resort is not good. We were charged baht 4,200 a night for a room (we had 2)that wasn t worth more than 1,500. The whole resort was in bad repair, shoddy and very overpriced. So much so that we have been in communication with ThailandHotels-24.com.com the booking agent and sent them photos of the areas in particularly bad repair or used for dumping old glass, statues and other no longer needed items. Decking was broken, garbage underneath in full view. We were not expecting anything like 5 star accommodation but it was a complete rip off at the inflated New Year price, plus a compulsory NYE dinner at 2,500 each (we were 4), total rip off. The first day when we checked in we had to leave 2,000 deposit for the keys, no mention of this on their website, we asked for towels for the beach, could only give us one and a shower towel the chap at the desk was using to lean on over his chair! View from our bedroom window was a old toilet and dumping ground. The so called private beach was a absolute mess, hence no one was using that beach at all. Russion tours came daily to the Le Blanc, they had the most part of the front of the hotel beach, the residents had a small area where beds were very crunched up. I also feel that ThailandHotels-24.com misrepresented Le Blanc. I wrote and asked if anyone from that company had actually been and stayed there..no answer to that question. However, they have replied in general. We were offered another hotel as I wrote to ThailandHotels-24.com.com whilst at Le Blanc. But it would have cost us a further baht 18,000 which we were not prepared to spend. I would not recommend this hotel at this price, if you were paying 1,500 a night, then perhaps it would be ok because of the location. But there is no excuse the the garbage and clutter between the chalets at whatever price. It could be so good with very little work, simply tidying the grounds, private beach, limiting the tours. Breakfast was included, we had a choice of 2 sets, congee or a revolting fry up, so everyday we went elsewhere. [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: Friendly Hotel Staff & Management. Unfortunately swimming pool was still under construction that is why our rates were comparitively low for the season. Good Breakfast - rooms were simple but clean. Location is good - just opposite the beach. Mae Pim is a lovely little place - quite a lot of locals and suitable for those who do not like the hustle of Pattaya and Koh Samui. One can find nice little interesting bars at the beach side.
