Other comments about the hotel: I just loved this place!!!It had a great community vibe to it. You feel at home during your stay here. With the granny barking orders to the wonderful food and the awesome hospitality of Pete. I dont care about luxurious resorts where you feel like an imposter except in the comfort of your own aircon bungalow. How was the booking process handled?: Have booked a few times via ThailandHotels-24.com, so far it has been working fine.
Other comments about the hotel: We arrived on Dec 31st and had a mandatory(!) new year dinner for 900 baht/person, which was good but of course not worth that kind of money. The owner is friendly and nice, but the place needs to shape up a bit - the restaurant took generally very long time, even though we were practically alone there. Nice location though.As we where there during peak season we were seriously overcharged, but that can t be helped - Koh Phangan is always fully booked over new-year.
