Other comments about the hotel: Nice and quiet hotel. The room (duplex) is big enough to allow 4 persons to sleep but it is not well adapted for small children as the stairs to reach the upper beds are dangerous. The negative points of this hotel are that there is no direct access to the beach : you need to use a Kayak which can limit the access (although the staff in charge was very kind and helpful). And it is a little bit far from any other restaurants so, if you don t have your own transportation and if you have small children, for dinner, you have no other choice but to eat at the hotel s restaurant which may not be the best in the area. How was the booking process handled?: Helpful staff, they arranged booking and transfer to another resort when we wanted to cancel two nights due to the construction in progress.
Other comments about the hotel: Construction work during our stay was disturbing, especially since they worked until 01.30 in the morning. Not suitable for small children since you need a boat (or have to take a long walk) to go to the beach.

Other comments about the hotel: Our holiday at the Away Resort in Koh Kood was unbelievable. This resort in its special location caries many special memories. Our time there was relaxing, surrounded by the beautiful forest like gardens, palm trees, clear blue turquoise waters and excellent treatment and service from the Away Koh Kood staff. The friendly staff always made us feel welcome. A special thanks to Supaporn Yindeemak (Pui) (Assisting Manager) whom always went the extra mile, and far beyond what was expected, in making this holiday perfect for myself my fiance and our parents. Maten som serveras pÄ deras restaurang Àr toppen. Pröva deras Mixed fruit shake sÄ blir Ni inte besviken. Utsikten Àr hÀrlig och man kÀnner att man Àr i paradiset pÄ Away Resort. NÀr man bokar tÀltet sÄ fÄr man Àven djungelns ljud och deras invÄnare nÀra inpÄ en. Riktigt mysigt men öronproppar kan behövas ibland. Vi hade inga problem med djur men granntÀltet fick in en mus en kvÀll. Personalen var snabbt pÄ plats med katt och stege för att fixa till problemet.Ett minus Àr att vattnet utanför bryggan Àndras med tidvattnet (beror nog pÄ vilken mÄnad det Àr ocksÄ)och strömmarna blir riktigt starka. Detta var inget som de varnade för- vilket de borde dÄ vi en dag fick problem dÄ man mÄste simma ut en bit för att nÄ en nÀrliggande ö och resortens strand. Other comments about the hotel: The hotel was really good. Nice, clean, fantastic staff. The personnel in the activity Center is the most wonderful personalities IÂŽll ever met. I would recommend this hotel for those who want to relax or go for water acticities. Rent a motorbike and go to the Fishing Village. And ask the staff about restaurant options if you donÂŽt want to eat at the hotel every day. There are more restaurants on the island. There are no shopping at all on the island, only lovely beaches and nature. DonÂŽt forget to bring the mosquito spray. My family with 2 teenagers really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. Other comments about the hotel: Excellent location so peaceful and clean. We were happy to have stayed here. The seaview duluxe room was really nice with great views of the quiet beach. I would definately recommend this place. The breakfast too was very good with lots of choice. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The only downfall is the tax that is added on top of the food bills......but hey its a hotel and it was cheap compared to UK anyway [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

How was the booking process handled?: Their poor English led unfortunately to quite a few misunderstandings
Other comments about the hotel: Quite nice hotel but not enough for European travellers. Hotwater and A/C were not on during daytime in the villas and the interior furnishing in the rooms was very poor, i.e. few electrical plugs in the room, no mirror in the bathroom (no electrical plugs there either), poor lightning in the room (impossible to read in the bed) and no refrigerator as confirmed by the agent. Nice restaurant and decent international breakfast, but far too expensive menues at dinnertime. Lovely garden and surroundings. In comparison to a similar hotel on Koh Chang or Koh Maak not worth the money.
