Other comments about the hotel: I recommend this resort if you want a relaxing get away with lazy days on the beach. Sea view pool side rooms are nice, quiet and close to the beach and the smaller pool. The rooms could use a new coat of paint on the walls but otherwise nice. Private beach with sunbeds included in hotel cost, not the best beach on the island but still good. The infinity pool is nice but would be better with a staffed bar.I recommend renting one of the hotels speed boats for a private snorkling trip, amazing and not too expensive.The only draw back is the area around Kai Bay Beach which has no or very few beach restaurants/bars, most restaurants are up by the main road which not as nice and relaxed as the resort itself. Other comments about the hotel: Villa Beach 1-2Merveilleux endroit avec vue magnifique, la villa à la hauteur de nos attente.Toutefois très chère pour la Thaïlande.Le jardin magnifique, les piscines avec jacuzzi un rêve.Le bémol, le petit déjeuner. Un vrai casse-tête pour avoir du müsli un bol pour tous et c est tout ;o) ce n est pas grave, mais au prix de la villa, on aurait pu en avoir un par personne. Bref sinon, calme, mer splendide.

Other comments about the hotel: We were issued the wrong room the first night which was not bad. We were on the cliff with an awesome view. The only problem was that there were two beds. Not the best for a couple on vacation. The staff was so nice and helpful about the situation and we were put into a pool side superior room the next day. The cliff room had a nice view, but the poolside room was all around nicer! The people at the front desk were the nicest reception people, and were willing to bend over backwards to help. Overall, the stay at the resort was great!

Perfect place to swim in the sunset. Beautiful garden. The personnel was though not service-minded because of the management ot the hotel. No such info were written on the homepage when the reservation was made.We talked to the reception and they could not help us, for your information they serch for the location information on ThailandHotels-24.com.com and did not found it eather.We had to taljk directly to your office wich offerd us to change the room an dpay 1100 bath extra per night, wich was pleny more than we expected and not plan to bring with us to koh chang. Anyhow, we could not stay at the other side of the street close to bars and the road and had no other choice than to pay the supplement.unacceptable and vary bad experiance for us.Well..the room, not clean and the housekeeping didnt clean up proper every day.stuff and things were boken in the room, which anyone can expect to function when paying for such a room cathagory.We had an incident on the cliff sunchair, I almost fell down the cliff but my boyfriend nearly not saved me because of the broken plank we were standing at. We immediately told the reception about the danger whoch could cause people falling/drowning but they only laughed at us.Such things as kayak were not included, there were no information about this eather on ThailandHotels-24.com.comThe beach toys which were free of charge were broken and not useble.We have never been treated this way in thailand before.Thank you for listening

Other comments about the hotel: Были на Ко Чанге в сезон дождей. В это время там нечего делать. Каждый день/ночь идет дождь с грозой, море бурное и грязное (с острова все течет). В наше присутствие порвалась линия электропередачИнтернета - остров остался без света и Интернета. У кого было автономное электричество - магазины 7/11 на Белых песках и крупные отели там же, у тех был свет. Мы сидели при свечах, отрезанные от центра. Телевизор не работал. Отель сам по себе очень интересный - весь в тропической зелени. Наш номер - Sea View Poolside находился в двухэтажном домике на первом этаже. Т.к. первый этаж стоит на сваях, вода и всякая живность не попадает в номер. Номер выходит на сад и частично видно (метров 100) море. Есть более дорогие номера на горе. Это на любителя. Т.к. шли проливные дожди, идти в гору не очень приятно (скользко). А из/в номер - вниз/вверх в ресторан/на пляж/в город ходить часто не станешь. Тут надо иметь накачанные ноги. Зато вид очень красивый на море со скалы. На самом верху есть второй бассейн. В наш приезд из-за не сезона там было пусто, бар у бассейна тоже не работал. Наш номер внизу нас полностью устраивал - все под боком (ресторан, пляж, выход в город). Везде зелень, пруд с рыбками, цветущие орхидеи в кадках. Очень красиво и живописно. Ночью квакают/рычат лягушки. В отеле было очень мало народа - на завтраке (он был включен в стоимость) было 6-8 человек. Вечером очень тихо. Пляж из-за дождей и волн с моря размыло, везде валялся выброшенный с моря мусор. Его изредка убирали (для галочки). Мы не разу так не искупались из-за непогоды. Пруд с рыбками тоже не чистили. Убирали только номера. Наш номер был очень удобный - в ванной комнате душтуалетраковина были разделены дверьми. Со стороны входа были стеклянные двери с москитной сеткой (очень удобно). Единственный минус в номере - не было бесплатного сейфа. Пришлось документы и деньги оставить в сейфе на рецепшене за 20 бат. У каждого номера есть отдельная веранда со стульями и столом. Персонал был приветливый. В ресторане еда была так себе. Один раз поужинали и стали ездить на Белые Пески (выбор больше в заведениях). Зато вечером, после заката очень романтично сидеть на открытой площадке ресторана у моря. Близлежащий поселок Кай Бей нас расстроил. Из-за не сезона многие заведения не работали или только изображали работу. Когда не было света - никто вообще не работал, даже в местном 7/11 магазине не было света. Приходилось на тук-туке (100 бат на 2-х человек)ездить на Белые Пески. Белые Пески тоже от дождей пострадали - там еще сильнее паводок с гор и поселка, все нижележащие отели от дороги подтоплялись грязной водой, дорога по поселку тоже частично была в воде. Other comments about the hotel: Удачное расположение (обменник рядом,ресторанов куча,есть где пошопится), пляж не очень понравился (много острых кораллов и камешков), на пляже нет ресторанчиков не от гостиниц (в следствии высокая цена). Много русских :), завтраки слабоваты для гостиницы за 170 у.е. В номерах нет зубных щеток... Встречаются рваные полотенца, сервис посредственный. Если будете брать Famaly Bungalow № С202 имейте в ввиду что напротив отеля бар и до полуночи играет музыка (хорошо слышно в доме и мешает спать). Территория отеля не большая но зеленая. Other comments about the hotel: I booked a cliff room for 4 nights, these kind of room have nice view but are very small (with a king size bed)and there are a lot of steps to go inside. I stayed only one night in this room and I changed by a swiming pool room (no probleme to change). Other comments about the hotel: A really nice hotel. We enjoyed are 12 days there. Rooms were nice and rather big. The cliff pool fantastic - what a view !! Personell at hotel very friendly and service was good. The breakfast was good and the restaurant had good food but was a bit pricy. Lot s of good restaurants on the main road so that s not an issue.The beach was nice with sun chairs, just a few step s from our room. Bought one trip from the hotel - a half day fishing tour. Very nice and successfull with some really nice fish caught.Would definately stay here again.

The upper pool area was great and the Cliff Bungalow had a nice sea view. The stairs up to the Cliff area was a bit dangerous. Other comments about the hotel: We stayed at the Cliff Beach Resort for 4 nights in March 2008.Our apartment was clean and tidy, the restaurant and food was very good, the buffet breakfast was excellent and really set you up for the day.The IMPORTANT aspect of the Cliff Beach was the staff, they were friendly, polite and nothing was to much trouble for them, the room service was quick and the laundry was returned promptly.I would recommend this resort to singles and families alike, it caters for all people in a caring and friendly way.However, I would add a word of caution to the more mature guest, when booking try to book a beach apartment, as some of the apartments are quiet a climb, although the resort offers a courtesy buggy but this finishes at 5.00pm, of course if you have a car you can drive down to reception and the restaurant.In conclusion, this is the place to stay when in Koh Chang, and do hire a power boat for the day to take you to the outlying islands and snorkel over the coral reefs, you can then ask the skipper to take you to another island for lunch on a remote and empty beach, ideal if you are on your honeymoon or just want to spend some quality time alone with your partner, just ask at reception and it will be all arranged for you, including the food.We hope that you enjoy yourself s as much as we did, our only regret that we did not have time to stay longer in this micro paradise.[ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: I booked one of the Thai houses for a 2 night stay, the room was smaller and not what I expected, having looked at other empty houses which were larger I couldn t understand why we were put in the smaller one. The rooms are dated, tv reception was poor, bathroom window had no curtain, no tea and coffee, no safety box in the room, patio lighting was intermittent the only saving grace was the view, stunning, but not worth the money. The infinity pool was nice however the poolside bar was poorly stocked (beer and coke) and had no menu to call for snacks/food from the cafes in the resort below. I never ate in the hotel as experience has proved local restaurants are cheaper and better. I wouldn t stay here again at these prices, it doesn t represent value for money (baht 6000+ per night) and is in need of a facelift. [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: The hotel is not good not bad.We had cliff house and not worth the price at all.The bed was bad and there was not a table with chairs to sit on.Balcony old and had to ask for parasol 3 times.Breadfast and beach was O.K.plenty off beds.For 4.300 Bath a day you can expect much more.
