The beach are lovely and lonely:-).The poolbar was closed but you could go to the restaurang.

We ask for the time to Kata, and your answer was about 2 hours. The taxi driver who drive us, couldÂŽt not speak any english and he could t find in kata, so the trip take 3.45 hours. We stayed for 7 days.The Resort with accomodation, restaurant and service is ok and has what you need.Koh Kho Khao island gives you more too choose from compared to a smaller island with one or two resorts. Other comments about the hotel: A very quiet and nice hotel. The restaurant served very good food and the breakfast was delicious. If you wanted to go shopping you had to go to the pier, which was 7km away the supply was not large. There were also a few restaurants to choose from. Would love to come back but did not stay longer than a week. The beach is long and nice but the water is so clear and fine as in many other places. Other comments about the hotel: This is a really beautiful place to stay in the area of Khao Lak. The island is completely quiet and you find those Thai people which you will not find in busy and very touristic areas like Phuket. The hotel offers great value for money and I would always recommend it to my best friend. However, you have to be aware that you need to take a ferry whenever you want to go on the mainland. And the ferry service stops after 5.30 PM and does no start before 7:30 AM.

Other comments about the hotel: This is a resort and it works. The wawes are not for small children but there are plenty of pools. Everything costs and it lays in the middle of nowhere on this small island. It was difficult to come on tour to the similan because the hotel only arrange tours if there were at lest 15-20 people who had signed up. We stayed in a double bungalow for 6 days and that was really nice. But after 6 days you have seen it all. But its a perfect stay to relax and do absolutely nothing. Bra service, med bÄde researrangemang och möjlighet att bestÀlla transfer. Att det gick att boka 7 nÀtter och betala för gjorde inte saken sÀmre. Other comments about the hotel: Koh Kho Khao Resort is a wonderful place to be, on the right side of the island, where you can enjoy the sunset. There are not yet so many tourists who have discovered the island, it was so calm, silent and nice, a perfect place to relax. The bungalow was perfect, not far from the beach and the sea, close to a small pool. The restaurant offers a lot of tasty food, the staff was very pleasent and helpful. Breakfast was okay. There is also a small Supermart in the area, perhaps a litte bit too high prices. You can buy nice tourist-tours from the hotel. But watch out, donÂŽt go to Pah Island, there is nothing to se or do, no shadow just very hot! The distance to other hotels in the pier-area was about 6 km. You can rent a motorbike or take a taxi, no problem. There are some other small restaurants not far from the hotel.We had some problem with mosquitos, you might need protection.I really recommend KKK Resort! [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: Mysigt stÀlle! Stort hotellomrÄde, trevligt hotell och personal. Allt man behöver finns dÀr, Àven bokning av utflykter och moppar. Lugnt och avkopplande, perfekt att börja sin vistelse i Thailand hÀr. Bodde i en hÀrlig seaview bungalow, sÀngarna var dock mycket hÄrda. PÄ minussidan var att det inte fanns tillrÀckligt med solstolar vid havet och avsaknad av parasoller. Det var mycket hett i februari, tur att fanns palmer att ligga under! Det vore trevligt med nÄgon form av enkel underhÄllning, musik el liknande pÄ kvÀllarna i restaurangen, som för övrigt hade mycket god mat, prova deras hot pan ! Litet utbud av andra restauranger i nÀrheten, det Àr ca 6 km till piren och övriga restauranger. Ett rÄd, ta pÄ myggmedel pÄ kvÀllarna. Vi Äterkommer gÀrna hit igen, mitt omdöme Àr .

The only thing to critisize: the guest reserve the beds around the clock - even when the are a whole day on aboot tour and the others have to look out for a olace - especially in Pool areas - this is bothering for visitors - its the Logistik - Hotels should take more care on that

Other comments about the hotel: Rooms and resort is excellent. Cleaning could have been much better but not bad. just average. Tour guides where really good and spoke good english. Prices were low compared to resorts in Khao Lak.
