Staying on the 12th floor, I wanted to take a shower in the morning and still after letting the water run 15 minutes it never got hot. Only after I was finished did the water get anywere close to warm. The wireless service, included(thankyou, but did not work. Can always connect to the router but the internet was not available most of the time. Had to use the sales office connection in the lobby. Other comments about the hotel: I will definitely stay here again and hopefully in the Jr. Suite again as well. This was a great room, very spacious. The price was extremely affordable, especially for a room of its size...which is basically 2 deluxe rooms divided by a wall.

On bus route so easy access to cheap transportation around town, also Tuk Tuk s on street waiting for customers at all times. Large room with bathtub and ample water flow / hot water to use it. Has very good buffet, breakfast/lunch/dinner. Dinner buffet was on special for only 60 Baht. Service and staff very friendly and helpful. Free airport shuttle service. Other comments about the hotel: The hotel was very reasonably priced though well past its sell by date having seen betterdays.The room was very tired and run down and had an unpleasant smell, we actually had to purchase a air freshener.The breakfast was ok though a little restricted in choice.The swimming pool was full of green water and the bottom of the pool could not be seen, so we didn t feel comfortable using.I suppose we got what we paid for, though there are probably better hotels in Udon. Other comments about the hotel: Never again!We arrived later than planned and were tired on our arrival so the general state of the rooms we did not notice.The next day after an awful breakfast we noticed the rooms were filthy.On arrival back in the evening we noticed the maids had not made much difference and we asked the for the rooms to be cleaned again. Other comments about the hotel: The Napalai Hotel is very good value for money and I stay there regularly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is comprehensive if you like asian breakfasts, but the continental style offering is rather average (including stewed tea and coffee, unexciting corn flakes and anaemic white toast bread). The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a complimentary airport transfer. It is easy to get to the city by songthaew (No 14 or No 15) and the hotel is conveniently located for the airport.
