Other comments about the hotel: Basically you get what you pay for with this hotel. I had a few issues with one or two of the staff not being very helpful or friendly but we all have our off days i suppose? The rooms were cleaned to a resonable standard (got what you paid for). I think the whole of the hotel could do with a bit of a make over as it is looking a bit dated and worn.I would have no problem stopping here again depending on the price? All in all i would give this hotel a 6 out of 10.

Other comments about the hotel: This was the second time i had stayed in udon and found the hotel to be everything i need and found the service first class in everyway. Only thing i would say is the rooms need to be updated as the look old and out of date with more modern hotels.

How was the booking process handled?: Very good like being able to email a person. Please speed up hotel voucher issue after payment is authorised.
Other comments about the hotel: The hotel room was fine, location is near the centre and there is good parking with security. Price 1050 was ok but wouldn t want to pay more. Pool is good but changing room is a little basic. The two downsides as I see it are the breakfasts which go downhill the later you go and the wait for cooked eggs, the other is the wifi which I am surprised is not free as other hotels in Udon and the price to use it. Handy having Yellow Bird at the back for a bit of late night entertainment and no noise travels to hotel.

Other comments about the hotel: We are from Laos and stayed there so many times, and requested to have double bed with an extra bed for my child, but when checkin they always provide twin beds.I understand this is upon request, but dont understand why they cannot give double bed even we pay more for extra bed.

Other comments about the hotel: The Charoen Hotel is a nice hotel. Even though the outside of the hotel looked a little old the room I had (Junior Suite) was large and very clean and nice. It was a short 5 minute walk to all shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Staff were friendly and helpful to me when I stayed.
