Other comments about the hotel: This is a comfortable hotel with nice gardens. The rooms were clean but I felt the bathrooms needed to be upgraded. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Security was good and always at their post no matter what time of the day I left or arrived. Only negative was the set menu breakfast they gave as there were only 2 families at the resort - it was not appetizing. However for the remainder of our stay they put on excellent buffet breakfast. If you don;t have a car your dining options will be limited to the hotel which is ok, but if you are mobile this hotel is in great location for many dining venues. 15 minutes drive to Khao Yai National Park entrance, 5 minutes to Palio and 10 minutes to Muang-Lek where you will find wineries. Other comments about the hotel: Must improve of service standard. Room rate quite high but amenity in room was below expectation. Hotel should provide more train staff. My room facing Air Con problem and informed hotel to check aftered I came back Air Con in the room was opened, I though problem was fixed until 1a.m. I felt hot again, I checked at the Air Con found Ice that mean problem was not solved but I have no choice (1a.m.) on the next day I complained to GSA staff and she checked with the answer from ENG dept that they will fix this problem after I check out which made me very upset for the stupid answer. How was the booking process handled?: Excellent service, helped change my dates quickly and efficiently.
Other comments about the hotel: Had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. It is not in middle of the tourist action but easy to get to everything. Swimming pool was clean, breakfast buffet had western and thai style food. Staff was helpful and all spoke a little english. Internet service in the room was 100 bhat for 24hours but intermittent and weak if working at all. No strength for skype. The lobby service is better 50 bhat for an hour but the logoff sequence was longwinded and the hour could be wasted if not logged off between uses. Lots of karaoke! Other comments about the hotel: My overall comment....it was o.k. In consideration of the price we paid we couldn t expect a 5 stars location. Rooms are getting a bit long in the tooth. Other comments about the hotel: Basically you get what you pay for with this hotel. I had a few issues with one or two of the staff not being very helpful or friendly but we all have our off days i suppose? The rooms were cleaned to a resonable standard (got what you paid for). I think the whole of the hotel could do with a bit of a make over as it is looking a bit dated and worn.I would have no problem stopping here again depending on the price? All in all i would give this hotel a 6 out of 10.

Other comments about the hotel: superior room, 940Bahtone of the most unpleasant rooms i ever stayed in. if this was superior, i dont want to see standard.the rooms was flooded with some flowerimmitating odor to cover the smell, which thousands of naked feet left in the carpet over the last 30 years. torn curtains cover incomplete cleaned windows and the hollow in the mattrasse makes you wonder, what had happened on it already.AC and electric devices worked well.wlan is free and unbelievable slow.breakfast is acceptable, but not more.summary: not even worth 900B and a room u like to leave as soon as possible.recommend: nocome back: never [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: It was enlightening to see a 20?? year old hotel still maintain its reputation as being a top hotel in the region. Though the rooms are dated, they are clean and well kept. It is one of the few hotels in Thailand that has an endless supply of hotwater for a baht! The airconditioner worked up to snuff. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was decent also. Well trained staff which was refreshing after being in other poorly runned hotels in Thailand.

Other comments about the hotel: everything was ok the maid service the staff and the porters and a little English was spoken so all in all i was happy just two little things the air conditioning was a little noisy and watch out for mosquitoes the little buggers.
