Other comments about the hotel: Great resort, good value for money. The hotel has many classical details, form ceilings to light switches, giving it a very special atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is stunning, the service as you may expect from a 5 star hotel. Only comment would be that they have a insect problem in the rooms.

Beautiful rooms (although the teak wooden floors can be a bit noisy if you have heavy footed upstairs neighbours) but the twenties style of the place is astonishing. Three cons though; Hua Hin is a terrible place, the beach is not very inviting; and the staff is cold and distant compared with other hotels we have stayed in in Thailand. How was the booking process handled?: Went smoothly except for a moment of check-in process which seem a booking agency may have had a misspell or two. Nothing major.
Other comments about the hotel: A beatuful, large hotel on the beach located right at the center of the town. We were upgraded for a jounior suite room upon arrival for booking a superior room which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and a large percentage of them can understand basic English for communication needs.We enjoyed walking in town for dining and shopping which we could find everything in about 20-min walking radious.
