Other comments about the hotel: Excellent but quiet hotel reflecting downturn in world economy. Very friendly staff.Very good chef.Busy city. Good beaches.Take care not to visit very seedy bar across the road from hotel. You will be ripped off. However restaurant Madame Aun also across the road is very good.

We had an interconnecting room for ourselves and our 9 year old son (double room too small for extra bed). No taxis in the town. We phoned the hotel from the station and they sent a tuk tuk (more like a mini songtheaw) for us. Staff helpful, owner (though not others) spoke English.
