Other comments about the hotel: If you are looking to get away from it all and just relax in a quiet and comfortable place, Viva is a very good place to be. As this is a reasonably priced small (11 spacious bungalows), family operated resort, you can of course not compare Viva to high end luxury resorts, but here you can appreciate the following:- Mom´s excellent thai cooking (possibly the best Thai food I have tasted)- Dad´s large and well kept pretty garden- A nice beach you often may have completely to yourself. Of course no jet skis and no one selling stuff. At low tide, small children may walk far in the water, at high tide only adults can. I think this part of the Island is less exposed to big waves than Chaweng etc. - Spacious, clean and very nice bungalows._ Friendly service.- A big, pretty pool.We only managed to get 4 nights at Viva, even though we booked more than two months in advance. The gardens were beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing.The rooms were kept clean however I bit outdated but for the money good value. Other comments about the hotel: Wer auf Ko Samui nicht den Trubel sucht ist hier genau richtig.Super Service, leckeres Essen... es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Anlage.Die Kommunikation ist kein Problem solange man Englisch kann.Auf der Westseite weht immer ein angenehmer Wind, so dass es nie zu warm wird. Aufgrund des Windes werden einige Sachen an den Strand angeschwemmt. Dies ist aber kein Problem, da der Strand täglich gesäubert wird. Die Gartenanlage ist TOP gepflegt und der Pool ist auch schön. Man kann relativ weit ins Wasser laufen. Nach ca. 100m steht man bis zur Brust im Wasser. Dies ist sehr angenehm.Schnorcheln ist direkt an der Küste generell nicht zu empfehlen. Man sieht nicht sonderlich viel. Dies trifft auch für Chaweng bzw. die Ostküste zu.Das Essen war immer lecker und die Shakes sind einfach bombastisch :-)Man kann beim Frühstück auch Sandwiches nehmen und nicht nur zwischen den 3 Menus wählen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.P.S.Meine Eltern waren auch auf Ko Samui und haben uns besucht.Deren Hotel war auch nicht schlecht (Promtsukburi?!)Aber als Sie in unserer Bungalowanlage waren haben sie es bereut, dass sie nicht auch im Viva waren :-) [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: Viva vacation resort是我住过最漂亮的酒店。独具异国风情的格调，精致的花园式别墅，生机昂然的热带植物，花艳丽多姿，叶翠绿茂盛，服务员热情周到，从曼谷到苏梅一夜的颠簸顿时一扫而光。敞开式餐厅和接待处的软装也绝对精致，地板一尘不染，大家都是光着脚进去的，有家一样温馨舒适感。我们到达viva是早晨10点左右，迫不及待的在这花园式的餐厅里美美地享受了主人自己做的西式午餐。房间是低调奢华的那种，我们订的是海景房，前面是泳池，再前面就是海滩了，非常漂亮。在Viva享受到了幽静，纵容了视觉，敞开了心扉，零距离贴近大自然。有个小小的遗憾，就是房间里的热水其实是温水，不过还好那里常年气温高，所以问题不是太大。

Однако есть и определенные минусы. Но отель оправдывает свои 3 звезды. Расположение подкачало, далековато от цивилизации, до любого ресторана и магазина надо ехать. Other comments about the hotel: This is a fantastic resort. It is run by a Thai family who are very helpful and go the extra mile. The rooms were very big and clean. The food was fantastic,we ate at the resort everyday night. It is a nice quiet resort with a private beach. Easy to get round the Island from the resort. Dont have a bad word to say about this resort. Highly recommended,will definalty be going back next year to the same resort. Viva Vacation made our holiday fantastic. Thanks

Other comments about the hotel: A perfect location if you are looking for a quiet place to relax: private beach, beautiful well kept gardens, bungalows not too close to each other and comfortable and spacious inside. Viva Vacations resort is in a quiet part of the island yet close enough to shops and restaurants in Nathon. However, there is no need to travel to eat well as the food at the resort is excellent. But the best thing about the resort is the hospitality and service. The resort is family run and both family and staff were very friendly and helpful. Other comments about the hotel: It was a lovely and nice holiday at Viva Vacation Resort. We can strongly recommend. The friendlyness of the owner family is overwhelming. We loved to stay and made exessive use of the wonderful 25 m swimming pool. The location requires a vehicle (moped or car) to travel around.

How was the booking process handled?: This is a good website. It is good to be able to pay for all the accomodation upfront to save needing to carry extra money wilst travelling.
Other comments about the hotel: This was the best resort of our entire holiday. This family owned business goes beyond their duty to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on the service alone, but when complemented with a great resort, location and dining, it could not be beaten.
