Other comments about the hotel: We arrived to the Sala Samui on our honeymoon. The location of the resort is a ittle far from the Chaweng area but since that was what we were looking for it was perfect. The resort is beautiful - everything is well taken care of and the calmness that surrounds you is perfect for some R&R. The resort personnel is excellent at providing high level service at any time of the day and are very pleasant and pampering all the time! The two amazing pools at the resort are great - conveniently located by the beach and restaurant. The resort offers happy hours every day (totally worth it) and the food at the restaurant is really good as well. If you want to eat for a little less you have many choices on the beach to your left. We stayed at a double balcony room - very clean and beautifully decorated with an amazing bathroom and balcony. Breakfast is great - offers a variety of dishes and fresh fruit, juices, pastries and bread.We totally recommend the Sala and would absolutely go back for another vacation! Other comments about the hotel: Cet Ă©tablissement aurait toutes les cartes en main pour offrir un sĂ©jour de rĂȘve:- emplacement- concept- restaurant dirigĂ© par un chef franco thai, Alexandre Viallatte, aussi sympathique que talentueux, sans doute parmis les meilleurs de l ile-service irrĂ©prochable aussi bien en chambre qu au restaurant et sur la plage.Mais il rĂ©ussit Ă gĂącher le sĂ©jour par quelques dĂ©sagrĂ©ments majeurs:- climatisation inefficace, entre 26° et 28 °dans la chambre au mieux ..! agrĂ©mentĂ©e d un bruit intolĂ©rable qui vous donne l impression d ĂȘtre encore dans l avion - lors du check out qui est Ă midi, pourquoi couper l eau (et la tĂ©lĂ© ,ce qui est moins gĂȘnant) dĂšs 9 heures ???- et pourquoi me prĂ©senter la facture du sĂ©jour que j avais dĂ©jĂ payĂ©e au voyagiste il y a plus d un mois ?Ces faits sont intolĂ©rables pour un 5 Ă©toiles, et si donc vous dĂ©sirez passer un sĂ©jour reposant et dormir la nuit il faut Ă©viter le Sala Samui. Mais çà ne semble pas gĂȘner la majeure partie de la clientĂšle constituĂ©e de jeunes couples en voyage de noces qui ont certainement autre chose Ă faire la nuit que dormir.Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© dans une Sala Pool Villa en juin 2010. Other comments about the hotel: Customer service at Sala Samui was great! Very nice people and nice hotel in general. Too bad the location on the island is quite remote from the city, and from any practical beach.. The beach right in front of the hotel has muddy ground & multiple rocks, making it uneasy to swim while other beaches on the island are simply perfect! (was quite unexepected for the standard of this hotel). One small negative thing about the hotel: every additionnal services offered by the hotel (restaurant, drinks on the beach, laundry etc..) is more than 3-4 times more expansive than anywhere else.. Walk 2 minutes on the beach & you can eat for at least twice cheaper for the same quality of food!For divers, breakfast starts at 7 only so it can be a problem. It s possible to ask for a breakfast package to go though free of charge!The rest was simply perfect! [ThailandHotels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Other comments about the hotel: Beautiful room and pool. Stayed in the Garden Pool Villa which was fab. Hotel pools looked lovely too although we didnt use them because our pool was so nice.

Other comments about the hotel: L hotel d un style design zen magnifique. Les bungalows avec piscine privée sont superbe. Le personnel parfait pour ce type d établissement. Un seul inconvénient ( mais de taille ) les moustiques. La direction de l hotel devrait engager un programme de traitement comme font d autres établissement de l ile.
