Other comments about the hotel: great room, facilities, pool, bar and atmosphereshocking service at reception, paid for extra bed and took a while to be provided three towels etc. showers are ordinary and you must have all beach towels in your room in order to be given fresh ones the following day. this hotel is still being developed and the reception is temporary so i know it will one day be something great!

The service was incredible, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms are great. Other comments about the hotel: Nice place, quiet, good view. Nice personell. Beach in front had unclear greenish seawater with partly small sharp corals on the seabed. If you are looking for nice, clear water and sandy beach go somewhere else.

Other comments about the hotel: We loved our stay at the waterfront. It was everything the webpage description said and more. Our bungalow was well appointed, clean and had magnificent views of the tropical gardens and the sea. The location right in the centre of Fisherman s village was ideal as we could easily walk out to eat and drink in the local bars and cafes and yet it is in a tranquil and peaceful setting. Breakfasts were superb especially being eaten on the terrace by the sea.The staff were all very helpful and extremely friendly making us feel very welcome. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. From the moment we were picked up by Robin, the owner, at the airport, till we left, we were made to feel very welcome. The resort was small and friendly, and much thought had gone in to providing anything you might need. We loved it, and will return. The owners - Robin and Sue did all they could to make us fill like home and did it well. The staff are nice and efficient and the food is wonderful. All other services the hotel provides are quite satisfing (laundry, massages, room services...).What was amazing is that Robin and Michael (his son) took us from the airport and to it (when our vacation was over). Other comments about the hotel: What can i say - I knew this was going to be great for my husband and I but was not sure it would fit the bill for 2 teenagers aged 15 and 16. It was absolutely FANTASTIC - really amazing owners Robbin and Sue who were an inspiration to customer service, stunning surrounds, amazing, personal customer service with great guests. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone who loves socialising and relaxing within an intermate environment.

Other comments about the hotel: What can I say?.....this place was truly magnificent. The pictures on the website does no justice to the resort. The place looks more beautiful in person than the pics on the website. The owners and staff were top notch and very friendly. The area is very quiet and peaceful and most of all, very relaxing. One of the best features is that the owners themselves are willing to pick you up from the airport on your arrival from Bangkok. The room me and my girlfriend stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. All I can say is that this is one of the best places I have ever stayed on any vacation. I most definitely recommend this resort as a must stay place. I will definitely book the same resort when I go back to Samui next year. All the restuarants and shops are well within walking distance from the resort and the nice evening walks along the beach with your significant other is very nice, and the view of the beach and outlying islands is very stunning. Other comments about the hotel: This resort went beyond my expectations. Robin met the group I was with at the airport and drove us round the fantastic village of Bophut identifying each restaurant and bar - you could eat at a different one each night and sample the cuisine from various parts of the globe, only a few minutes walk from the Waterfront. Many had live entertainment each night so you are never stuck for things to do. The Billabong was especially good for live music and atmosphere, but Robin and Sue also provide a comprehensive booklet with every bar and restaurant in the vicinity.The amenities at the Waterfront were wonderful - the rooms exceptionally modern, very clean and with every facility. They have books, games and DVDs to borrow, if you need them!! Our time there was too short to make good use of them all. Breakfast was excellent and food could be obtained at the bar by the pool up to 6pm each day. I can personally recommend the duck and ginger pancakes!Although they can t always promise to provide transport back to the airport Michael was able to do that for us - otherwise there are plenty of taxis in the area - remember to negotiate a price beforehand though. I lived in Thailand for 6 years and travelled round to many places during my time there.
